Climate

The maritime situation of Blanes governs its climate, which is temperate, with an annual average temperature of about 16º C with infrequent rain.

The most important winds are the Garbí from the south west and the Xaloc from the south east. In winter the Levante or east wind blows for a few days and usually brings heavy rain with it. The Tramontana (north wind) sometimes reaches Blanes with very little intensity and also the warm west wind.
